India’s first Builder School.

Built around the network, not the degree.

Live company mandates from day one. Zero exams. Taught by founders and operators, not professors. Some of our builders will start companies. Most will become the person every company is fighting to hire. Both need the same training, and neither gets it from a syllabus.

India produces 10 million graduates a year. The market respects 200,000 of them.

The credential system is not broken. It was built for an era that ended. Employers need people who can build. Most institutions still produce people who can sit an exam. Nobody built the alternative. So we did.

93%

of Indian graduates are rated not industry-ready.

AI passes the exam

Every test you are studying for can now be cleared by a machine. The only signal left is what you have actually built.

You pay. They owe nothing.

Fees clear on day one and the institution’s interest in your outcome ends there. No stake. No skin in the game.

The network is the product

Harvard doesn’t sell education. It sells a 400,000-person network that hires you, funds you, and believes in you, for life. The curriculum is the wrapper. The network is the product.

IIT and IIM

Their real value was never the coursework. It is hundreds of thousands of alumni in every WhatsApp group, every boardroom, and at every table that matters in India, who answer because you share the same stamp. That network took decades to build.

Why density wins

Ambitious people around ambitious people compound each other. Put a hundred builders in one room for a year and the room itself becomes the asset, not the lectures inside it. The institution is just the filter.

What nobody built

No institution in India has been designed from scratch, for builders, with the network as the primary objective rather than an accident of who happened to graduate. VERTEX is that institution.

You don’t have to want a startup. You have to want to be good.

There is a myth that programmes like this are only for people who want to found companies. That is wrong, and it costs people opportunities. The skill is the same. What changes is where you point it.

Path one

You want to get hired, at a level you couldn’t reach otherwise

  • You arrive with proof, not promises

You walk into interviews with real company work you can defend line by line, while everyone else has a transcript.

  • The operators teaching you are the ones hiring

Founders and senior operators see your work up close for months. That is the shortest job pipeline that exists.

  • You skip the queue entirely

No placement season, no aptitude test, no resume screen. People who watched you deliver make the call.

  • You become the hire nobody wants to lose

Founder’s office, growth, product, revenue: the roles that compound into running things.

Careers after VERTEX

Path two

You want to build your own thing, and want someone to back it

  • You build it here, not after here

Your venture gets built during the programme, with operators stress-testing it weekly.

  • VERTEX Studio writes the first cheque

The strongest ventures from each cohort get backed by the institution itself.

  • You are not pitching cold

Warm investor intros through the people already invested in your outcome.

  • And if it doesn’t work, path one is still open

The skills that make a founder are exactly what makes you unhireable-at-a-discount.

How VERTEX Studio backs builders

Most people arrive not knowing which path is theirs. That is normal, and it is fine. You do not have to decide before you walk in.

Three ways in. One institution.

Every programme runs on the same philosophy: real mandates over case studies, operators over professors, and outcomes over grades. Whether you are aiming at a career or a company, pick the depth that fits where you are right now.

Compare the programmes side by side

What a year here actually looks like.

Real mandates over case studies, operators over professors, and outcomes over grades.

How it works in detail

  1. You get handed a real mandate

Not a case study written about a company a decade ago. A live problem inside a real business, with a real operator waiting on your answer. You present to the people whose money is on the line.

  2. You are judged on output, never on exams

There is no paper to memorise and nothing to cram. Your record is what you shipped, what you sold, what you fixed, and what a room of founders said about it.

  3. You get backed: funded or hired

If you have built a venture, the strongest ones get first-cheque capital from VERTEX Studio. If you have not, the operators who spent months watching you deliver are the shortest hiring pipeline that exists. Either way, you are not starting from a cold resume or a cold pitch.

  4. The network does not expire

The programme ends. Membership does not. You stay inside a curated room of builders, with the deal flow, co-founder matches and intros that come with it, for as long as you keep building.

Underneath all of it runs VERTEX OS, the AI layer that matches builders to mandates and records what each person actually delivered. About VERTEX OS

Same years of your life. Very different outcome.

This is the honest comparison. Not features against features, but what you are actually holding, and what you can actually do, at the end of it.

VERTEX Studio

And if you build something real, we back it.

Not everyone here will start a company, and nobody has to. But for those who do, most institutions treat your startup as an extracurricular. Here it gets funded. VERTEX Studio writes first cheques into the strongest ventures from every cohort, which means this institution only does well when its builders do.

About VERTEX Studio

Backed before you graduate

You do not finish the programme and then start looking for someone to believe in you. The room you are already in writes the cheque, opens the doors, and stays on your cap table as your institution.

  • First-cheque capital
  • No outside pitching required
  • Built alongside your mandates
  • Investor intros from day one

VERTEX does not hire professors.

It converts founder and operator relationships into teaching faculty: people who have carried a target, raised a round, shipped a product and made payroll. They teach the one thing academics cannot: what it actually takes.

The faculty model

  • FoundersWho have actually built it
  • OperatorsWho run it today
  • ZeroCareer academics

Curated for builders. No passengers.

Every cohort makes every previous cohort more valuable. That is the only moat that matters in education, and it is the one thing a competitor cannot copy, buy, or accelerate. IIT and IIM took over half a century to build theirs, and they built it by accident, as a byproduct of who happened to graduate. We are building ours deliberately, from the first cohort, as the primary product.

Membership does not end at graduation

You are not an alum on a mailing list. You stay inside the room: a job board that never closes, a co-founder bench, deal flow, and a set of people who pick up the phone because you came through the same filter they did. Whether you need a hire, a role, a cheque or an intro, the room is the answer.

  • Private job board
  • VERTEX Deal Room
  • Co-founder matching
  • Investor intros
  • Annual builders’ summit

How to get in

VERTEX is not open for applications yet, and would rather tell you that plainly than collect your money before it is ready to be worth it.
  1. Step 1

    Join the launch list

Put your name down. The founding cohort will be small, and the list gets first access.

  2. Step 2

    Hear first

Dates, fees and admissions criteria go out to the list first, before the public sees them.

  3. Step 3

    Apply when your intake opens

Each programme announces its dates, fees and criteria when its own intake opens.

  4. Step 4

    Join the founding cohort

The founding cohort will be small on purpose.

Starting small is a genuine path in, not a consolation prize: strong performers in the shorter formats get fast-tracked toward the flagship PGP.

Is VERTEX open for applications right now?

Not yet. We would rather tell you that plainly than collect your money before we are ready to be worth it. This site exists so you can decide whether this is the kind of institution you want to be part of before a single seat is sold. Dates, fees and admissions criteria go out to the list first, and the founding cohort will be small on purpose. Get on the list and you will be looking at it before the public is.

What actually makes this different from an MBA?

An MBA teaches you to analyse businesses. VERTEX exists to make you someone who can actually run one, whether that is your own company or a serious role inside somebody else’s. The difference shows up in three places: you work live mandates inside real companies instead of reading case studies about them, you are taught by founders and operators rather than career academics, and the people teaching you are also the people who hire and fund. That last one is the real test. Ask any institution you are considering what happens to their economics if you succeed. For almost all of them, the honest answer is nothing.

Is this a UGC-recognised degree?

No, and that is deliberate. VERTEX is not a degree-granting university and is not seeking UGC or AICTE accreditation. We are not competing to hand you a piece of paper: that market is saturated, and the paper loses value every year AI gets better at passing the exams behind it. What you leave with instead is a documented record of real work for real companies and a network of operators who watched you produce it. Be clear-eyed about this: if your target is a government role, a licensed profession, or a foreign masters that requires an accredited undergraduate degree, you need a university and we will tell you so. What we build is the thing that gets you hired or funded on the strength of your work, which is what the rest of the market now actually screens for.

Which programme should I pick?

The Foundry is the fastest way in and the easiest to fit around an existing job or degree: one real mandate, a founder-judged demo day, shortest commitment. VERTEX Bharat is for people who learn by moving: eight weeks across eight cities, learning India’s economy by standing inside it. The PGP is the full thing: deepest network access, Studio backing if you build, and the most direct line to hiring operators if you don’t. Strong performers in the shorter formats get fast-tracked toward the flagship, so starting small is a genuine path in, not a consolation prize.

Compare programmes

Do I need a startup idea already?

No, and you never have to have one. A large share of every cohort will finish without starting a company, and they are not second-class here. They leave with something arguably more bankable: a record of real work that makes them one of the most hireable people in the room. If you do have an idea, you will move faster and the Studio may back it. If you do not, you are still in exactly the right place.

Who is this actually for?

Two kinds of people, and they are equally welcome here. The first wants to start something. The second wants a career that actually goes somewhere: a role with real ownership, at a level a normal degree will not get them. Both need the same thing: the ability to walk into a room and solve a real business problem in front of people who can tell the difference. What we are not built for is someone who wants to coast through a brand name and be handed a safe outcome. If you would rather earn the outcome than be assigned one, you are the right fit, whichever of the two paths you take.

In ten years, the people running India’s best companies will not come from where you expect. They will come from VERTEX.

Some of them will have founded those companies. Most will be the ones those companies could not function without. The founding cohort will be small, and the list gets first access. Put your name down before the rest of the country finds out.
