Privacy notice

Last updated 19 September 2026.

Draft for legal review. This page describes how the website works today, but it has not yet been approved by counsel. Items in square brackets are still to be completed.

This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. The website is operated by [Registered legal name of the entity that operates VERTEX] (“VERTEX”, “we”), [Registered address].

What we collect

When you join the launch list, we collect:

  • your name and email address;
  • your phone number, if you choose to give it;
  • the programme you are interested in;
  • a record of your consent, including the version of the wording you agreed to;
  • where you found us: the page and form you used, the first page you landed on, the website that referred you, and any campaign (UTM) parameters in the link you followed.

To protect the form from abuse we process your IP address. It is only stored as a one-way hash, for about ten minutes, to limit repeated submissions. Your email address is also stored as a one-way hash for up to twelve months so the same address is not added twice.

Why we use it

  • To tell you when a VERTEX intake opens and send you information about the programmes, as you asked.
  • To keep the launch-list form working and free of spam.
  • If analytics is switched on, to understand in aggregate how the website is used.

We process this data on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing sahilchopra185@gmail.com.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Resend, to send the confirmation email and notify our team of new sign-ups;
  • our website host, which keeps standard server logs;
  • [CRM, spreadsheet or automation tool, if a lead webhook is enabled];
  • Upstash, if enabled, which only stores the hashed values described above;
  • Google Analytics, if enabled (see the cookie notice).

Some of these providers process data outside India.

How long we keep it

We keep launch-list details until you ask us to remove them, or for [retention period] after the last intake we contact you about, whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Email sahilchopra185@gmail.com. Grievance contact: [Name and email of the person who handles privacy requests].

If you are under 18

Please ask a parent or guardian before submitting the form. [Counsel to confirm the parental consent process.]

Changes

We will update this page if the way we handle data changes, and change the date at the top.
